Fuel injection equipmentsFuel injection equipments (FIE) are the heart of the engine which play a major role in its performance, emission and reliability. Fuel injection equipments play a critical function of injecting a metered quantity of fuel, at a predetermined time and in a predetermined fashion. For a given engine, the requirements vary with speed, load and operating conditions. The requirements also vary from engine to engine. Fuel injection equipment has been the core business of MOTORI a distributor for the companies like DEUTZ belonging to IML group of Italy, right from its inception in 1989. Today IML MOTORI continues to be a supplier of FIE whole over Europe and other countries of the world.

Fuel injection pumpThe purpose of the fuel injection pump is to deliver an exact metered amount of fuel, under high pressure, at the right time to the injector. Its purpose is to suck fuel from the tank and deliver it to the metering pump. The injector injects the fuel directly into the cylinder or a prechamber connected to the cylinder. The other common kind of injection pump is the inline pump which has one plunger for each cylinder. The plunger in the pump both rotates along its axis and performs a reciprocating translation in and out. It is the translation that performs the high pressure pumping, while the rotation is responsible for metering and sending the fuel to the correct cylinder.
